Job Description: Marketing Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Automation Specialist to join our Revenue Operations team. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing our current use of Marketo and will play a critical role in leading the organization’s transition to HubSpot as our primary marketing automation platform. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in both Marketo and HubSpot, with a demonstrated ability to oversee migration projects, ensure data integrity, and establish scalable automation practices.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the organization’s existing Marketo instance, including campaign creation, lead nurturing, scoring, and lead routing processes.

Lead and oversee the migration from Marketo to HubSpot, ensuring continuity of operations, accurate data transfer, and minimal disruption to business processes.

Develop, implement, and optimize HubSpot workflows, automations, and integrations post-migration to support business growth.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including BDR, Marketing, and Revenue Operations, to ensure alignment between marketing automation activities and organizational objectives.

Design, manage, and continuously improve lead lifecycle management and attribution frameworks to ensure reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Maintain strong integration between HubSpot and Salesforce to support accurate data synchronization and campaign-to-revenue tracking.

Establish and enforce best practices, governance standards, documentation, and user training to drive HubSpot adoption across the organization.

Monitor performance metrics and prepare reporting dashboards to provide insights that optimize marketing campaigns and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience with marketing automation platforms, with direct, hands-on expertise in both Marketo and HubSpot.

Demonstrated success in leading a marketing automation platform migration, preferably from Marketo to HubSpot.

Strong proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce experience required) and their integration with marketing automation tools.

Deep understanding of lead management processes, campaign reporting, and attribution models.

Exceptional project management skills with proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
