Roles and Responsibility

Job Description – Data Steward

We are looking for experienced and analytical professionals to join the team as a Data Steward supporting the Confluence PARis platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing investment manager data collection processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and operational efficiency across client reporting workflows.

You will work closely with custodial banks, asset managers, consultants, and investment clients to streamline the submission and reporting of investment product and account data through Confluence’s centralized data collection platform.

What You Will Do

You will:

  • Manage and monitor the manager data collection dashboard used by investment managers and consultants.
  • Coordinate with asset managers, custodial banks, and clients to procure and validate financial data.
  • Resolve data quality issues, troubleshoot reporting discrepancies, and manage support tickets within defined timelines.
  • Support authorization and onboarding processes for clients and data providers accessing asset owner data.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across complex organizational structures.
  • Create operational and management reports focused on data accuracy, timeliness, and reporting insights.
  • Ensure reporting outputs meet client expectations and compliance standards.

Technical Skills Required

You should have experience with:

  • Financial market data including stocks, bonds, indices, and investment products.
  • Investment performance measurement and reporting concepts.
  • Working with large datasets and maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Custodial data and investment performance reporting workflows.
  • Analytical problem-solving and critical thinking.

Experience with the Confluence PARis platform will be preferred.

Desired candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis within banks, financial institutions, investment management firms, or performance reporting technology vendors.
