Roles and Responsibility

Job Description – Investment Compliance Consultant

We are looking for compliance and regulatory professionals with strong investment compliance expertise to join the Confluence consulting team.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to implement, configure, and support compliance and regulatory monitoring solutions while providing consultative guidance on complex disclosure and investment regulations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in investment compliance, regulatory disclosure requirements, data analysis, and client consulting within asset management or financial services environments.

What You Will Do

You will:

  • Consult with clients on investment compliance and regulatory disclosure requirements.
  • Configure and support compliance monitoring solutions and regulatory workflows.
  • Perform data analysis, gap analysis, and asset treatment validation activities.
  • Guide clients on substantial shareholding, sensitive industries, and position limits regulations.
  • Support SEC filing-related compliance processes including 13G and 13F-2 requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify compliance gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Assist in system setup, implementation, testing, and client onboarding activities.
  • Provide hands-on consulting support across both client engagement and technical configuration tasks.

Key Expertise Required

You should have demonstrable knowledge of:

  • Substantial Shareholding Disclosure Rules
  • Sensitive Industries Regulations
  • Position Limits Legislation
  • SEC Filings:
    • Schedule 13G
    • Form 13F-2

Preferred Background

Ideal candidates may have experience working:

  • Within a compliance function at an Asset Management firm
  • In consulting or implementation roles at financial technology vendors or consulting organizations
  • On regulatory compliance and disclosure platforms such as:

    • Solutions Atlantic
    • Signal

Professional Attributes

  • Strong consultative and client-facing skills
  • Investment compliance domain expertise
  • Hands-on system configuration and implementation experience

  • Understanding of asset type treatment and regulatory impacts
  • Ability to guide clients confidently with credibility and authority
  • Willingness to remain hands-on across both consulting and operational activities
