Roles and Responsibility

Job Description – CDM Technical Consultant / ETL Consultant

We are looking for technically strong and analytical professionals with expertise in SQL, ETL, and Data Warehousing to join the CDM Technical Consulting team.

In this role, you will work on data integration, transformation, reporting, and technical solution design within the Confluence CDM platform. You will collaborate with clients, business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to deliver scalable and high-quality data warehouse solutions.

What You Will Do

You will:

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Build and enhance ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading within the CDM application.
  • Design technical solutions and data models based on client business requirements.
  • Perform advanced data transformation, cleansing, aggregation, and validation activities.
  • Develop reporting outputs, dashboards, and client-specific data solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve client support and data quality issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and efficient database operations.
  • Conduct unit testing and validate technical deliverables before deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Technical Skills Required

You should have experience with:

  • Microsoft SQL Server and advanced SQL querying
  • ETL tools and data integration processes
  • Data Warehousing concepts including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema
  • SQL Server database setup, backup/restore, permissions, and optimization
  • Data transformation and large-scale data processing
  • Reporting and visualization platforms such as:
    • Power BI
    • Tableau
    • QlikView
  • Scripting languages such as C#
  • Microsoft Excel
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) – preferred but not mandatory
