Roles and Responsibility

Job Description: Associate Data Operations Analyst

We are looking for detail-oriented and analytical professionals to join our Regulatory Managed Services team as Associate Data Operations Analysts.

In this role, you will support critical regulatory reporting and data operations processes by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of filings and operational reports. You will work closely with Analysts, Specialists, SMEs, and global stakeholders to manage reporting workflows, investigate data issues, improve processes, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.

What You Will Do

You will:

  • Update, maintain, and process mapping tables and working files using internal systems and proprietary platforms.
  • Monitor data traffic, schedules, sourcing, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Analyze datasets and investigate business or client queries related to reporting and filings.
  • Create and run operational reports that improve filing quality and process visibility.
  • Perform filing validations, sanity checks, calculations, and data loading into regulatory platforms.
  • Identify inconsistencies, variances, and operational risks while proactively escalating incidents.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, checks, and operational controls.
  • Collaborate with global teams on projects, reporting timelines, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

You should have experience with:

  • Regulatory reporting, fund accounting, fund administration, risk reporting, or related financial operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with exposure to SQL, VBA Macros, or Python.
  • Data validation, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.
  • Managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Process documentation and operational control management.

Candidates with experience in US/EU regulatory reporting

Desired candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis within banks, financial institutions, investment management firms, or performance reporting technology vendors.
