Job Description: IT Delivery & Operations Manager – India CoE

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on IT Delivery & Operations Manager to lead our IT team in the India Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is critical to ensuring high-quality execution, delivery accountability, and local team leadership across EBS, Data/BI Engineering, IT Ops, and Helpdesk. The ideal candidate combines team leadership with operational depth and is comfortable managing both people and delivery outcomes.

 

What will you do 

IT Delivery & Execution Management – Proven ability to manage cross-functional IT teams and deliver on complex initiatives across EBS,  Data, BI, IT Ops

Team Leadership & People Development – Strong people leadership skills with the ability to manage performance, mentor, and drive a collaborative team culture.

Scrum & Agile Delivery – Hands-on experience running scrums, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.

Capacity & Resource Planning – Ability to manage team allocations across projects and BAU support.

Process Mapping & Documentation – Proficiency in defining, optimizing, and documenting IT and business processes, system flows, and SOPs.

Communication & Stakeholder Management – Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience representing IT to senior stakeholders locally and globally.

Change Agent Mindset - Proactively identify ways to improve processes, drive efficiency, and scale delivery maturity.

Problem Solving  – Able to manage escalations, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes across Ops, Data, and Infrastructure. Able to contribute in strategic initiatives and project implementations 

 

 

 

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in a team leadership or delivery management role.

Proven experience managing cross-functional IT teams, such as Enterprise Business Systems , Data & BI Engineering, IT Operations and Helpdesk functions.

Strong track record of delivery management, including planning, tracking, prioritization, and issue resolution.

Experience leading daily stand-ups, team check-ins, or agile/scrum routines to drive execution.

Skilled in capacity planning, team allocation, and managing workloads across support and project efforts.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to represent IT in cross-functional and leadership-level discussions.

Experience with documenting processes, workflows, and system landscapes to support operations and knowledge transfer.

Demonstrated ability to lead people, manage performance, and foster a collaborative team culture.

Preferred

Experience working in global or matrixed organizations, particularly in collaboration with remote leadership teams.

Potential experience as a Systems Business Analyst, IT Project Manager will be a plus 

Understanding of enterprise applications, business systems, and integration across functional areas 

10–15 years total IT experience with at least 5 years in a team management or delivery manager capacity.

Experience working with US/global counterparts in a matrixed organization.

Demonstrated ability to drive process maturity and documentation in a growing team

 

Familiarity with data platforms, reporting environments, or infrastructure operations (not tool-specific).

Exposure to IT service management frameworks or internal project/process improvement initiatives.

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (optional but a plus).

 

 

Technical Awareness (Not hands-on, but needs to understand):

Enterprise systems – Functional understanding of system stack 

Data Platforms – Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL, data warehousing concepts
