Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Functional Consultant** to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dynamics 365 F&O, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that meet business requirements. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, configure and implement D365 F&O modules, and provide ongoing support to ensure system efficiency and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Work with clients to understand business processes, gather requirements, and define functional specifications for D365 F&O solutions.
- Analyse current business processes and propose efficient solutions within D365 F&O.
System Configuration:
- Configure D365 F&O modules (such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement & Sourcing, Manufacturing, etc.) based on client requirements.
- Design, test, and deploy configuration changes to meet the client’s needs.
Implementation & Integration:
- Lead or participate in D365 F&O implementations, ensuring best practices are followed during setup and integration.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
End-User Training & Support:
- Provide end-user training and documentation to ensure successful adoption of the system.
- Offer post-implementation support, troubleshoot system issues, and provide solutions to enhance system performance.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the functionality meets the defined requirements.
- Prepare test scripts and test cases, ensuring that all configurations and customizations work as intended.
Continuous Improvement & Upgrades:
- Advise on system enhancements, new features, and upgrades to improve business operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest D365 F&O developments and new features to guide clients on opportunities for improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant with at least 3 years working with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Experience with D365 modules i.e. Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc. is a plus.
- Solid understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions within D365 F&O.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with D365 F&O configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with D365 F&O integrations (e.g., Power BI, Azure, third-party applications).
- Knowledge of data migration and ETL processes.
Certifications:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310, MB-320) are preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in consulting or working with large enterprises or multinational clients.
- Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
- Experience with the full project lifecycle from design through to deployment and support.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
