Responsibilities
•Negotiate and draft various commercial contracts, including Software as a Service (“SaaS”) agreements, software license agreements, confidentiality agreements, support and services agreements, partner agreements, and other purchasing agreements
•Review procurement requests and negotiate vendor agreements for various transactions, including technology purchases, consulting agreements, and marketing services and events
•Assist with generating responses for request for proposals, requests for information, and other similar inquiries to support pre-sales
•Assist with legal department projects as assigned, including the development and implementation of templates, trainings, playbooks, policies, and processes, including around security and privacy compliance
•Partner directly with the Sales, Finance, and Ops teams to ensure alignment and efficient time to close
•Provide support for maintenance of contracts database, track and manage reporting on relevant contract terms
•Support attorneys in executing on legal team initiatives, and carry out or assist with other related duties, as needed
Qualifications
•JD or equivalent law degree from an accredited law school
•7 – 10 years of relevant legal experience (prior in-house experience negotiating enterprise SaaS contracts and supporting an enterprise sales team, is highly preferred); international or government contracting experience
•Excellent negotiating and contract drafting skills, including experience negotiating customer drafted forms
•Experience in implementing, or working with contract lifecycle management tools
